2019 Christmas Party - All Ages Charity Event
Sunday, December 15th, 2:00pm-4:00pm at Thorncrest Clubhouse
It’s holiday season once again. This years Thorncrest Christmas event is Sunday December 15th from 2pm-4pm and is a party for all ages. There will be games and crafts for kids, food, wine and good cheer for the adults, all are welcome. Please note that our usual Santa was unable to attend this year due to limited commitments as he looks to retire. We will be sure to have plenty of entertainment for the children regardless.

In lieu of a cost for the event we ask that anyone attending consider a donation to Haven on the Queensway. For the past two years we have been able to collect a substantial amount of desperately needed items.

Here is their wish list;
-Gift cards-either visa/MasterCard or Walmart
-Warm clothes for children and adults alike such as gloves, hoodies, hats, jackets, boots etc...
-Toiletries
-Diapers, wipes, newborn/infant clothing such as pj’s, diaper cream etc... These items for pre made diaper bags given to first time struggling moms.
-Children’s books for the reading centre
-Toys, but ideally in the age range of 8-14 years of age as the younger ones are often first thought of. She mentioned earphones, small electronics etc...
-Food bank donations in the form of canned or boxed good

Any donations that you do wish to bring outside of the date can be left with Rob at the office. Please let us know if you plan to attend.
