Aqua Fit
Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, 10:45am to 11:45am at Thorncrest Clubhouse
Catherine is once again hosting Aquatic Fitness classes in the Thorncrest pool. The class runs every Tuesday from 10:45am-11:45am starting Tuesday Sept 10th until pool closing. These classes are exclusive to adult members and are free of charge. Below in bold is a note from Catherine on what to expect:
 
Aquatic Fitness is designed to teach adults of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. Emphasis is on training the Body & Mind resulting in better mental health, mobility and an independent life style. Participants will engage in a program with active range of motion, flexibility, cardiovascular and muscle conditioning all while enjoying the properties of water. The program is adaptable to both the shallow and deep ends of the pool and you need not be a swimmer to participate! 
 
Please bring a hat and sunglasses for sun protection, a polyester shirt to wear in the water if the weather is cool and bottle of water to hydrate. If you have water shoes &/or water mitts, bring them along as well.
